I know, I know…it’s a little early to talk about Fall decor but I didn’t really get to decorate last year because of the move and the start of my house projects, so I’m a little excited to get started. If you think I’m early, I went into Hobby Lobby last week to see what kind of Fall stuff they had (not much) and all of their Christmas stuff was already out.
I’m not decorating yet but I’ve been having some fun searching Pinterest for some DIY Fall decor ideas to try. My philosophy for Fall decorating is the same as my home decorating. Keep it simple, use what you love (and have) and use things from nature whenever you can.
Here are some great DIY Fall decor projects I’ve found to inspire you for the upcoming season. Please pin from original posts.
As close to nature as you can get…DIY Leaf Art from Just a Girl
Simple but pretty white pumpkins from Craftberry Bush
I’m definitely doing something like this…Chalk paint pumpkins from Perfectly Imperfect
Pumpkin topiary from Eclectically Vintage
Framed Fall from Fun Home Things
Falling leaf garland from 6th Street Design School
Pumpkins made with old bedspreads from Erin’s Art and Garden
How about some chalkboard art like this from Nest of Posies
Canning jar ring pumpkin from Yellow Bliss Road
DIY velvet pumpkins from House of Hawthornes
I hope you are feeling inspired to do some DIY Fall decorating this year. 🙂
Is it too early to talk about Fall decorating? Are you thinking about Fall yet or are you in denial that it’s fast approaching (after the horrible winter we had last year)?
