I’m a huge fan of salads, particularly cold salads.

I may not always know what to cook for dinner on any given night, but I do know that we’ll at least have a salad.

It’s usually just greens with a little fresh fruit, carrots and celery, but it’s always the best part of my meal.

  1. Green stuff salad is the winner by a good margin! Even though I haven’t tried all of them :-).

  2. These salads look amazing and perfect for the summer holidays. I have so many cookouts to attend and now I’m covere on what to bring. Thanks! Pinning!

    1. They all look and sound delicious, don’t they? Thanks for letting me share your tasty looking seafood salad. I’m definitely going to give it a try. 🙂

  3. We love that green fluff! Some of the others look delicious also.

    1. Glad to hear there’s another green fluff fan out there. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by Nita!

  4. I love the coolness of salads, especially in the summertime. I’m not a big fan of lettuce (crazy, I know) but have found that substituting some finely shredded cabbage will help my salads hold together. I am a big fan of salad vegetables and fruit together without the lettuce, such as zucchini and watermelon, tomatoes and cucumbers, black beans and corn, etc. And fruit – always fruit in my salads – with a sprinkling of nuts and crumbled cheese. So happy salad “season” is here!!

    1. I’m so happy that salad season is here too.

I love me some fruit in my salad too, and I don’t ever make one without putting at least a few blueberries and nuts in it (Marcona almonds are a fave right now). Your zucchini and watermelon combo sounds interesting. I’ll have to give that one a try.

Thanks for stopping by Pat. Hope you have a great week!

  5. Wow so many delicious looking salads, Definitely pinning to try most of them. Your Families green stuff was my husband’s favorite. He called it Fluff. LOL

House update. I backed out of it because they had legal issues with the property and a lien for $990 in back water bills! But I found the sweetest 800 sq ft ranch the next day. Needs a lot of cosmetic updates but I have nothing but time.

    1. Don’t they all sound good? Thanks so much for pinning. My husband is a huge fan of the green fluff too, and that’s what he also calls it that. Must be a man thing. 😉

So sorry your house fell through. Hoping that everything works out with your new one. It’s great that you found one so quickly. Maybe it’s just meant to be. 🙂 Fingers crossed for you.

    1. Me too Stacey! I need my daily salad fix. 😉 Thanks for stopping by and for pinning!
