It's that time of year again...the most wonderful time of the year. 😉 I haven't started decorating just yet but ideas are swirling in my head. To help you out with your decorating I found some inspiring DIY Christmas decor ideas.
Please pin from original source.
Last year I was so busy working on the house after we moved in that I didn't get very creative with my Christmas decorating. Although I'm still busy with the house, I'm hoping to put a little more thought into my holiday decor this year. I will still go with my simple and nature inspired decor but I'm hoping to try some new ideas. So here we go...no turning back now. Please pin from original post.
Simple but pretty candle luminaries from Town and Country Living.
Meaningful Nest hung ornaments in her windows from a curtain rod. Great idea and it's easy and inexpensive.
How about filling an old wash tub with greens and lights and wood like Laughing Abi. Simple but pretty.
It looks like Finding Home made this sign from a cabinet door...genius.
Love the sign that The Lily Pad Cottage made and hung over her pretty fireplace.
Croissant and Lavender made these cute tin can lights.
C.R.A.F.T. create really awesome free things painted this clay pot soldier. What a great idea!
The Thinking Closet made this glitter twine ball ornament.
How about a jute star instead of a traditional green wreath. Guia de Manualidades.
Easy and fun birch ornaments with a stamped initial by Shanty 2 Chic.
Are you feeling inspired? Have you started decorating yet or is your head swirling with ideas like mine? I'd love to hear about your DIY Christmas decor ideas.

Love, love love that wash tub. I may have to make that even though I won't be home on Christmas. After all I will be home the days leading up to Christmas. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Isn't that wash tub great Debbie? I think it's a simple way to decorate and can even look great long after the holidays are over. I'm going to do a version of it myself.
Glad you came by today and you found something useful. Have a great week.

Cute ideas! I like that tall aluminum planter from "Finding Home". I wonder what it is? Haven't started decorating yet, I won't do that until after Thanksgiving. Like you, I'm looking to simple decorations this year. Like the country, homey decorations.

Hmmm, I'm not sure MJ. My first thought was an old mailbox but I don't know. I think that the best decorations are the ones that are easy to put together, don't you?
Thanks for visiting today, I always appreciate hearing from you. Hope I was able to give you some ideas for decorating.

Wonderful ideas. Admittedly I haven't started decorating yet. But it is a family tradition of ours to decorate the tree and house together. I am a mom of three boys (my youngest is five) so we love getting into the festive mood especially for our little one. Thank you for sharing xx

It's always fun when the whole family decorates for the holidays. We used to do that when our girls were young, too. It was a wonderful family tradition that I miss.

Christmas is a nice time to display creativity and crafty skills while decorating a house. Of course, you may buy all necessary decorations at a local Xmas fair or order online, still it’s much more interesting to do the ornaments by yourself.
